ABC Spirits store to open in Steele Creek at Rivergate Shopping Center for spirit sales

CHARLOTTE (Region) — The Mecklenburg County Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board opens their latest store outlet on Saturday, October 14 at 13720 Steelecroft Parkway with special opening day extended hours from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the newly developed Rivergate area and will feature numerous Charlotte Bourbon Society barrel pick selections on site.

“Convenience takes precedence in how we approach our customers, so we’re excited to have a direct way of serving the Rivergate area,” said Keva Walton, Chief Executive Officer of the Mecklenburg County ABC Board. “As a burgeoning part of Charlotte, Rivergate is a major point of development for us moving forward. With this newest location, we hope to effectively begin our investment in the area with new jobs and direct commerce.”

The newly built ABC store in Steel Creek, with 4,500 retail square-feet, will offer customers a modernized, enhanced shopping experience with an increased variety of spirits to choose from.

New store features include:

  • Event Tasting Station to responsibly educate customers on product knowledge and offerings
  • Over 1,860 products to shop
  • Refrigerated Ready to Drink (RTD) selection
  • Convenient parking

Regular retail shopping hours at the Rivergate ABC store location are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Parking is located on-site at the store location.

Mixed Beverage Business Permittee customers may pick-up their orders Monday-Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. & Friday-Saturday: 10:00 5 p.m.
