OBJECTIVES
To assist the Property Development Program, customer comments were considered for location of, access to, and exterior and interior appeal of our stores for both men and women. Interior and exterior lighting were discussed to address the visibility of products, customer comfort, and security. Prototypical designs for the exterior, interior, and store signs were created to allow easy identification of the new stores. The concept of including art work relative to local neighborhoods was an important design element.
Architects were identified and the design process began. The prototype immerged.
